In May 2009 our lives changed forever.  Bobby was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML).  After an initial 40-days in the hospital we began to learn that because of low often zero blood counts Bobby was required to wear a surgical mask for protection.

Wearing the mask caused people to stare constantly.  The absence of hair was not enough to indicate serious illness, people still felt the need to rudely stare. As a result, Jerry created a number of T-shirts for Bobby to wear which stated "I'm Not Contagious You Are".  And so it began. We thought of many T-shirt slogans along the treatment road.  Many people encouraged us to market our many ideas. 

JBR Ideas is the culmination of many months of thinking and laughing about  potential slogans. Our ideas are meant to be fun, but we are very serious about fighting cancer.  With this in mind, 5% of all profits will go to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
